Wednesday 2nd October, 19 3rd Class boys and girls attended the Cork GAA 7-a-side blitz in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Our two teams played against schools such as Gaelscoil Uí Riada, Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn, Togher Boys NS and others. The focus of the day was on enjoyment and skill development, but both teams still managed to do very well and pick up plenty of wins during the day.
A huge well done to all of the players who played brilliantly, enjoyed themselves thoroughly, and made huge improvements throughout the day, especially given that some of the players were playing Gaelic Football for the first time ever.
Our boys team included James, Enzo, Luke, Freddy, John, Robbie, Pol, MacDaragh, Noah, and Dylan. Our girls team included Ziyanda, Blake, Emi-Rose, Mia, Trini, Morgane, Miané, Julie and Ava.
Well done to all involved and we look forward to attending future Cork GAA blitzes going forward.
